Dog Named Blue  at  319    2-20-99

On February the 20th, Dog Named Blue played 319 in Chico.  By all accounts it was an excellent show.  The first set was upside-down as the Dog opened with Touch of Grey and closed with Shakedown Street.  From the first notes to the last the crowd was up and dancing.  The highlight of the set had to have been the tender sweet  Althea.
The second set had it all,  a rockin' Music Never Stopped, the Mardi Gras special Aiko Aiko, the sad story of Black Peter, and the anthem Uncle John's Band. A splendid time was had by all.
On the small stage was a band from the Mt Shasta area, Gravity.  They were excellent.  Their rockin' whipped the crowd into a frenzy.  A must see when they are in town.
